Support Groups

Facing life’s challenges can feel isolating.

I convene tailored support groups on particular themes and in 2025 spaces are available

for the following 3 areas of need -  ''Loving someone with addiction'',

''Living with chronic illness'' and ''Loneliness''.

Programmes consist of 8 engaging sessions and are co-created and delivered at a pace that works for you.  These groups offer the opportunity to connect with others who share similar experiences and gain knowledge for creative solutions. Through listening and sharing you will feel less alone and a precious sense of belonging.

Leonie McCarthy Support Group Therapy

“People need people - for initial and continued survival, for socialization, for the pursuit of satisfaction...Members of a cohesive group feel warmth and comfort in the group and a sense of belongingness; they value the group and feel in turn that they are valued, accepted, and supported by other members.’’  Yalom.
